Today, I returned back to school and this period was a lot of shorter than normal. However, even though it was the first day, I immediately got overwhelmed because there is this huge project that I personally think the teacher should have given during break. I have to show a lot of music that I don’t have while using my free time to get my music out there. I don’t want to do that because I create music for myself and those closest to me, I don’t like the idea of sharing it with others. Plus, I have to work with someone for the project and I don’t know anyone in my class since I mostly keep to myself doing my work. Overall, not a great first day back.

I’ve already all of my work for Audio this semester, so I had a free day today. I just watched to music from YouTube basically the whole period, something I greatly enjoyed. However, since I have a another bit of my final for next period, Spanish, I decided to review a bit. There isn’t any memorization required, but I had to do an essay in class next period, so I just reviewed the formatting. Besides all of that, I mostly listened to music to listen for small details that would be essential in DJing.

Today, I did my “final” for Audio and it took longer than expected. Luckily, I finished, even though it was so hard to find a decent drum loop. After that, I didn’t have much free time, but I started another problem for my study guide for my final. Last time I checked, I didn’t have any missing assignments with Audio, so I don’t have anything to catch up on.

Today, I worked with BandLab once again and I actually finished the song I composed. I finally found new loops that would work well with my song that I couldn’t find on Wednesday. Not to mention that I accomplished the goal that I set up for myself on Wednesday, finishing the project in BandLab. Now that I’m done with that, I can focus more on my finals for my other classes. Anyways, for the rest of the class, I just kept listening to music.

Today I worked on BandLab and I’ve made significant progress. However, it’s hard finding the right loops to mix with the same, or around, the tempo. Still, I’m proud on how my mix sounds so far and I’m looking forward to improving it. I’m planning on finding some sort of Christmas loop due to the season. Hopefully, I’ll be done by Friday.

Finals are coming soon for all of my classes and it’s honestly terrifying. Luckily, for Audio, I have to show that I know how to work on BandLab. Basically, I have to make a new track and play around with it by next Tuesday. I already picked out the base of a song and uploaded to BandLab, so on Wednesday I’m planning to find enough loops to create my own Christmas song. By Friday, I’m planning on finishing this so this ‘final’ would be out of the way.

Today I didn’t know what I was supposed to do since I already did my assignments. So, I began searching for Christmas songs that I could DJ with later on. I chose several just in case if more than one song doesn’t mix well with any of the others. However, getting the playlist from private to public in YouTube to download the songs into the computer will be a challenge. I have an idea of what to do but I’m going to have to try it out first. That’s all I did today.

Today, I wrote another essay for the “Best Me is Drug Free” assignment. I already did it during Thanksgiving break, but turns out I misinterpreted what the teacher assigned. I believed that the essay had to be about the dangers of drugs but it was actually about what I do to stay drug free. I had a bit of trouble at first because drugs are never at the front of my mind since no one has really pressured me to take them. However, when I focused on what I do to relieve myself from stress, I used that as a base for my essay. That’s basically all I did.

Since I already finished my assignments and I work on DJing, I didn’t feel very productive today. The only thing that I did for class class was looking for some Christmas songs to DJ with next month. It was a bit annoying since I’m not really in the Christmas spirit lately so I also tried to find other songs that might fit the theme but I couldn’t really find any. Besides that, I worked a bit on homework from other class that’s due Sunday. That’s basically all that I did and if Mr. Yap is reading this, Happy Thanksgiving.

Since I work on DJing and not working on BandLab, I checked my grade for this class in Aries. However, I’m kind of worried that the Ten Tracks is an assignment in Aries when I don’t have to do it. Oh, I also edited my website a bit by adding some information about me and turned it in once again. Plus, I listened to music that I might DJ with next class. Since today is Wednesday and have less time, I didn’t really do anything else. However, I did witness some of my classmates working hard with their work.
